We had an absolutely brilliant morning today running our mini marathons. All the children took part and were exceptional. With the older children supporting the younger children and also the weather being so amazing, this all really helped to make this event a successful one.
With the children raring to go, we had a staggered start and with a huge effort managed to complete the 20 laps of the course, totalling 2.6 miles.
We have had a number of sponsorship forms in already and will be asking for the money to be brought into school by 5th November. We have had an amazing response to this and are very grateful to all parents, and extended families, who have sponsored their child/children already.
A super event, which was organised and run by our School Council.
