Wow! What an amazing Sports morning we had today. The weather was glorious and the children were fantastic both in their behaviour but also in their support for their peers.
To begin with we kept the children in the shade whilst small groups took part in house group activities. We then finished with some competitive races for each year group with stickers for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. All children received a sports merit award for taking part.
A huge thank you to Mr Scandrett who organised and resourced this lovely event.
Well done to all the children who took part, enjoy the photos!
Year 6 parents I also managed to film your children taking part in each event (hence the lack of photos in this blog) and will be burning this onto a DVD as an end of year gift. The DVD will include their races and the leavers assembly videos we have already pre-recorded. I know this does not compare to seeing your children in the flesh but hope it goes someway to keeping a record of their transition.
