Fresh, healthy food with great choice
Our school meals are cooked fresh each day and comply fully with all recommended nutritional standards. There is a choice of three hot meals (one vegetarian option) each day. One choice is a jacket potato, available with a choice of fillings.
Children can choose whether to have a hot meal provided by the school or a packed lunch from home, on a daily basis.

Prices
The cost of a 2 course school meal is £2.70. Payments can be paid by cash, cheque or using the online payments system SCOPAY.
​
We believe that this offers great value for money together with a healthy, balanced meal at lunchtime.
Families who meet certain financial criteria are eligible for free school meals. Click here for the latest criteria and application procedure.
All Infants (those in Reception, year 1 and year 2) are entitled to free school meals under the government's initiative and we would encourage all families to take advantage of this benefit.

Meet the team...
Lorraine Keneally (pictured on the left) is our Catering manager. She is assisted by Claire Jennings in our Bishops Nympton kitchen. The kitchen is a full production kitchen serving both Bishops Nympton and East Anstey Primary Schools. The third member of the catering team is Richard Holloway who is based primarily at East Anstey.

We are very proud to have such an experienced and highly talented team producing food to the highest standards every day on-site, using the best quality, healthy ingredients.
